Weather Warning and Possible School Closure
There is currently an amber weather warning for wind covering Coast schools for Thursday November 2nd. Storm Ciaran, which has brought about these warnings, has resulted in a red weather warning (imminent threat to human life) on the Channel Islands, and it is possible that the mainland weather warnings will be upgraded as the day progresses and the weather front develops if it shifts north.
Where there is a Red warning explicitly for West Sussex based on extreme weather in the form of hurricane or storm conditions that would potentially put lives at risk on their way to and from school, we will use closure as the default position.
This is following the West Sussex County Council Guidance.
We will update if we move from amber to red and communicate any closure via Weduc and Dojo
