Assemblies
Each day, children come together, either as the whole school, Key Stage or class for an assembly.
Our assemblies are based around a theme, such as tolerance, diversity or humanity, or a specific National or International day (or week) such as International Day of Peace, Anti-Bullying Week or Remembrance. These are very often linked to the British Values an/or one of our values.
Alongside these, we have weekly Star assemblies, where we celebrate individual children for something fabulous.
We encourage and seek out visitors to lead assemblies and invite in Father Steve, the RNLI, the NSPCC and Stone Pillow, as well as Hugo from Yapton Church being a frequent visitor.
If you or someone you know would be interested in leading an assembly, please let us know by contacting the office.
